SimonSaysCook Ha! Haven’t logged on or tweeted in forever but so happy to see this! It’s a fact, beverages do tast… twitter. Something about the handle and that connection to the maker. Say hi on SimonSaysCook So very happy to know that □.Lettuce of your choice (romaine, red leaf, whatever). As for what goes into it, my roommate is a creature of habit and likes his Bachelor Salad a certain way, the beauty of it is that there are no rules, you just need an open mind and a big bowl! Since it is a Big Salad, it takes time to prepare, but it is worth the wait. It comes complete with lettuce, fruit, protein, oregano and a vinaigrette consisting of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Make no mistake about it, the Big Salad is a serious salad and can be a substitute for an appetizer, entree and dessert all in one big bowl, because if it isn’t overflowing with goodness, it ain’t a big salad. The salad is named for its insistance on not eating like the typical bachelor, which normally consists of Kraft Dinner, pizza, take-out/delivery or something that just isn’t very healthy. For him, anyone can make a big salad and just put a lot of “stuff” in it, but he has perfected the spin-off to the Big Salad which he calls the Bachelor Salad. In honor of this episode, I would like to talk about the concept of the Big Salad and pay tribute to my roommate. Thank you for letting me go off topic a little bit there. George: Just tell her what’cha want, they’ll make it for ya.Įlaine: It’s a salad, only bigger, with lots of stuff in it. Elaine complains to George that Reggie’s doesn’t offer her favorite item as Monk’s as the waitress (Hilde) at Reggie’s takes their order… One of my favorite scenes from the show is when the gang is forced to eat at Reggie’s Diner because George had a falling out with one of the waitress’ from their usual diner Monk’s and he forces them to eat elsewhere because he finds it uncomfortable. OF SPECIAL NOTE Lauren Bowles is Julia Louis-Dreyfus's half-sister.So anyone who knows me will tell you that i’m a big fan of Seinfeld and much to the chagrin of my family and friends, I often quote or refer to the show and here I go again. Driving a white Ford Bronco, Kramer helps him evade the Gendason cheats at golf and then kills the dry cleaner. Whats in the BIG salad Jerry: Big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes. George: Is that what I ask for The BIG salad Elaine: Its okay, you dont George: No, no, Hey Ill get it. Jerry discovers that his current girlfriend once dated Newman. A big salad George: What big salad Im going to the coffee shop. SUMMARY George buys Elaine a big salad, then gets upset when his girlfriend takes credit for it. Just a nice episode.ĮPISODE GUIDE from Jerry Seinfeld: The Entire Domain by Kathleen Tracy Overall, a great episode with some hilarious stuff. Hilarious stuff with the OJ chase, without rules there's chaos, poor little Pinkus, and George's defense and then offense against Ensign Ro Lauren. Great stuff with the stationary store guy, George's obsession with Elaine knowing that it was he, who did not receive the thank you, actually bought Elaine the big salad, Newman dumping Jerry's current gal, Nancy Taylor, and Kramer's bout with Steve Gendason. Hilarious OCB starts off this beauty of a beat of a b a ute. This makes Kramer feel responsible and leads to the end of the episode, where a parody of OJ is done flawlessly. Pitt, and must go out with the stationer she originally asked for it, b/c she got it from somewhere else, and he did so much work to get it, and Kramer got into an argument over the rules of golf with Steve Gendason, who ends up killing his dry cleaner. Meanwhile, Jerry is going out with a gal who Newman once dumped, Elaine must get a mechanical pencil for Mr. This gets George pissed off, causing his girlfriend to end up breaking up with him. He pays for it, his gal gives it to Elaine, and accepts the thank you. Episode 2: The Big Salad Episode 2: The Big SaladĮlaine simply asks for a big salad, which leads to disaster for George.
